Wakefield Cemetery

The Wakefield Cemetery is located on Seventh Street on the west side of town.  

The Cemetery Board and Sexton do their best to provide a pleasant environment for your loved one's resting place.

All inquiries regarding the cemetery may be directed to the cemetery secretary.  They are able to let you know of availability, where your loved one is buried, and other rules and regulations.  Please call the City Office at 402-287-2080 to get in touch with the secretary.

Current 2024 prices are as follows:

Plots/Graves → $450.00 single grave

   2. Oversized Single $700
   3. Infant $350
   4. Cremations
      1. April to October $400
      2. November to March (frozen ground) $450
   5. Add-ons
      1. Saturday burial add $150
      2. Sunday and Holiday burial add $250
      3. All dirt removed (upon request) add $100
   6. Full Disinterment $1200
